Color Tone is the major color of the background whitespace. The color tone has a major impact on the feel of a website and is frequently a necessary component of the Overall Style.

  • Dark Tone. Common in High Fashion and very masculine sites.
  • [Light Tone]. Most common tone on the web.
  • Brown Tone. Another common tone for High Fashion sites.
  • [Blue Tone]. The default color for corporate websites.
  • [Green Tone].
  • [Orange Tone].
  • [Pink Tone]. Frequently used for very feminine sites.
  • [Purple Tone]. Infrequently used in websites.
